Our dear friends John and Ashley are expecting their first baby in November. Almost immediately after hearing the great news dear hubby and I offered to host their co-ed baby shower.
Both John and Ashley are avid readers so it only made perfect sense when Ashley asked for a book theme shower. (Even more perfect was that I had tucked this find away month and months ago just on the chance that was the theme/direction they wanted to take.)
Using the classics as inspiration I created these 48 old school library card invites.
Materials Used:
Library and Pocket cards. Purchased ours here
Book Plate Download
A heavy cardsock solid or print to mount the card envelopes to
Glue Stick
Martha Stewart Doily Lace Punch
Standard hole punch for the ‘card catalog’
Seal, sticker, tape, anything that suits your fancy. I used Martha’s eyelet seals (no longer available-sad)
Cover or Cardstock to create the card catalogs and book plates
Envelopes and stamps
