DIY Hurricanes

Yesterday, I officially dove into my latest task, planning an afternoon (in house) corporate retirement party. Unfortunately, my secret squirrel, fun and zany game of 20 Questions – What You’re Your Favorites? with the guest of honor, really didn’t provide a whole lot to go on.

Likes the beach, roses, Jazz music, shades of yellow and green, reading and Elvis. Hmmm….

Then I found this pretty courtesy of Kristin Brancaleone and The Treasured Petal. I think the idea is too fantastic (for any book lover) to pass up. Somehow, someway I’ll have to incorporate this project into this party and maybe a half a dozen more events. Super cute, super clever, super easy!
