Welcome Little One!

4:00pm yesterday afternoon, via NorthWest Air flight #627, Jackaroo and I welcomed little McKinley into our family (a six pound Soft Coated Weaton Terrier) . Yippee for sweet little puppies!

The poor little tike was pretty mellow and a bit shy yesterday when he arrived in Seattle via SouxCity Iowa. I think I would be too after a car ride from Nebraska to Iowa, a two and a half hour lay over in St. Paul, MN, the two hour journey to Seattle, and the forty five minute drive home to Maple Valley.

So far, so good. No accidents in the house yet, he slept like a champ last night and he’s full of lots
of love and energy this morning. Jack and I are so excited. Now on to babies!
Taken from my iPhone so a little grainy, he was'nt a fan of the big camera (yet)...

Cause we're just that sappy... :) Sweet little McKiney's name sake comes from the big Mt. McKinley itself. Jack and I’s first overnight trip together was up to Alaska to see and stay at McKinley’s National park. It just seemed like a perfect fit.
