I’m coming down from the weekend’s whirlwind excitement and starting to feel a little sentimental…
I feel so blessed and to have such an amazing man I can stand beside and share my life with. Not just on silly holidays, or anniversaries, or birthdays, but everyday.
I received a wonderful message last Friday from ultra talented Carina Gardner. She chose one of Little Retreat’s birdcages as one of her Favorite 5 Friday picks! I was over the moon to be in company with amazing talents and names.
On the way home I got to thinking…it had been less than one week since I posted my first item. In that one week, and weeks leading up to I’ve been consumed with designs, scraps of paper, and the idea that every room in the house is a craft room. All while this madness has consumed me, sweet Jackaroo patiently picked up after me, made wonderful dinners, and supported every crazy idea I came down with. If it wasn’t for my dear sweet hubby and his love, I’m not sure my Etsy fun would have taken off…..sure makes each sale and well wish a little sweeter.
