Off to the wild (in style)...

Gettin' outta Dodge and I'm so excited! Back in April Sunset featured this article and I commented here how cool it would be. Swapping your sleeping bag for a feather bed at a one of the few 'luxurious' campgrounds along the Pacific Coast.

On of the campgrounds featured was the Lakedale Resort at Three Lakes. Perched in the Pacific Northwest's San Juan Islands. And low and behold Jack made a phone call (in May) and got us in for this weekend.

Admittedly, they're more camp-y than luxury. But no the less they new canvas "cabins" outfitted with retro lanterns, flannel sheets, s'mores fixin's for your private fire pit — plus a basket of cushy towels and Molton Brown products to cart to the shower.
